City of Industry 要在Grand 跟 Golden Spring (Colima) 跟Valley 交口蓋球場，我本來覺得是一件好事，可是後來被我鄰居點醒後，就覺得好像不是那麼適當了。因為我們城市Diamond Bar其實沒有得到什麼好處，我們的學區Walnut Unified School District 也沒有獲得補助。我本以為蓋個球場在我們Diamond Bar的地上可以對我們的城市或學區有經費上的幫助，可惜好像不是如此。別的不說，空氣會遭到污染到卻是鐵錚錚的事實。希望各位住在Diamond Bar 跟 Walnut 的媽媽可以按照下面的步驟跟我們的市議會反應。這不是雞婆，而是希望我們小朋友都有一個好的環境可以成長。
NO NFL STADIUM
Majestic Realty plans to build a 75,000 seat NFL stadium with practice fields, training facilities, restaurants, and live concert theaters on Grand Ave. (where the 60 and 57 Fwys. meet).
What is in it for you?
Lower property values
Crime
Drunk driving
Traffic gridlock
Air pollution
Light pollution
Excessive noise
Loss of revenue
Waste of our tax dollars to fix the mess this will make all over our city!!!
What you can do:
Ø Email the city council and insist that they sue Industry for a new Environmental Impact Report before the time runs out on March 28. We cannot protect our city or negotiate for the best mitigation without knowing the full truth about this project. It will cost us millions of dollars later to fix the problems that the current EIR neglects.
